Festival Description
CanadaDrome is an ongoing (rolling) all-day film fest from Shivers Film Society in Vancouver, BC. We screen independent works from genre and experimental filmmakers with a focus on Canadian talent. The festival usually plays in Vancouver, BC, although it has been presented as far away as London, UK in the past. We work with the Cinematheque and the Vancity theatre in Vancouver and so far have brought six separate all-day film fests to the screen since 2012, featuring many independent Canadian filmmakers.
We want to help support independent Canadian genre filmmakers and provide a platform free of the sometimes awkward submission criteria of other Canadian festivals.
Rules & Terms
We prefer to feature genre, arthouse, exploitation, or experimental works. Please submit films via digital platforms (no hard copies).
