Blue Ruin opening April 25th at the Vancity Theatre (VIFF). Now THIS looks interesting…

Blue-Ruin-Poster-High-ResolutionSince its first release last year, the media has been constantly comparing Blue Ruin to the Coen Brothers’ early noir-ish classics. This is director Jeremy Saulnier’s second feature film, and it premiered at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival, winning the FIPRESCI Prize in the Directors’ Fortnight. This month, the Vancity Theatre will be featuring a very brief run of this intriguing film, and we hope you’ll check it out with us! As the screenings are extremely limited, you can check out the ticket sales directly: http://www.viff.org/theatre/films/fc8124-blue-ruin (where you can also find out more about Blue Ruin, including trailers, stills, and the official website).

The Vancity Theatre is on 1181 Seymour Street, Vancouver.

Blue Ruin opens April 25th, limited.
